Welcome to the Technology Services Department!

The Technology Services Department has made several improvements over the past few years.  In 2020, our district moved to a 1:1 student device initiative that has evolved with our population and our educational needs.  

Currently, all 9th Grade - 12th Grade students receive a district issued chromebook; all 2nd Grade - 8th Grade have classroom sets of chromebooks; and all Pre KG - 1st Grade have classroom sets of iPads.  These devices are for all students of Waco ISD.

With the ever changing needs of the campuses and learners, it has become more important than ever to stay relevant and supportive of their needs. This will be accomplished by staying true to the vision and mission of the Waco ISD technology department.

Technology Services mission is to connect the learner, promote digital literacy and level the playing field through ethical and responsible use of technology.
